Safety Plan on his own merit is the kind of bull you fall in love with when you walk in the pen, bold ribbed, big footed, on a solid foot and the one you go back to time and again, then you look in his ear and realize there is a reason he’s put together like he is.  His dam is the great 5066, who stands as one of the most influential donors we have ever owned and he himself is a full sib to Boston. His story begins generations before in Wisconsin, a family set out to raise good cattle, they came with Joe, his family a truckload of dreams to Oklahoma where John would end up with 066, with little knowledge   of how that one line of cattle generational all the way back to his   fathers, fathers would influence his life and change our program.

5066 has made her fair share of herd bulls as well as plenty of daughters that reside in the donor pen and as top producers not only in our program but in other programs across the country. Study this book, look at his REA, his IMF, look at his scrotal. This bull is the real deal from the time he hit the ground. We can’t emphasize enough the importance of cow families and especially the 066 cow line, it’s what our entire program has been based around. If you are into making good cattle follow a Safety Plan!
