The first calf crop of Bet on Red turned out to be a major success across the country.  He made sale toppers and show winners but the biggest accomplishment he made was solid, consistently good cattle. Four shots of the 8543U line up two on top, two on bottom to create as unique of line-breeding result to as great of a cow as you could possibly make.  We’ve seen it done in the Angus world with Ohlde genetics and you know the potency of one shot of that, seldom have I seen it done in the Simmy world and especially not on a female like her.

Buying any high dollar bull is a gamble, you make a calculated risk.  Bet on Red was worth it, the calves are amazing.  They have his look and many carry those goggle eyes that you can't help but love.  It's easy to say there has never been a red bull before him that has produced like he has.  We used him heavy across the spectrum and they are the kind of cattle that work!
